According to the Heritage Foundation, true conservative values are: Flag, faith and family; free markets and free trade; limited government, local control and individual responsibility .
So, does our “flag and faith” champion evil and bloody faces? Can the “free market” survive with the mind of evil?
And, doesn’t it impress upon us all to show honor, honesty and goodness in our “individual responsibility?’
Tonight on the 20/20 interview with Steve Croft, Walter Isaacson indicated that Jobs did not put on and off switches on Apple products because he compared it to possibly having an “on-off” switch on life. The biographer of Steve Jobs, Apple co-founder seemed to at one point believe in God and then on the other possibly think life was like a switch-” on… off”.
As Americans, we have to claim personal responsibility. It’s time for each person to stop depending on the government and get out and do what you have to do.
The government is NOT the answer and in fact adds to the problems as the red tape of dealing with the government causes issues.
Take responsibility for your own self. Take responsibility for your own country. Take responsibility.

I have some very sad news to share with all of you. Steve passed away earlier today.
Apple has lost a visionary and creative genius, and the world has lost an amazing
human being. Those of us who have been fortunate enough to know and work with Steve have lost a dear friend and an inspiring mentor. Steve leaves behind a company that only he could have built, and his spirit will forever be the foundation of Apple.
We are planning a celebration of Steve’s extraordinary life for Apple employees that will take place soon. If you would like to share your thoughts, memories and condolences in the interim, you can simply email rememberingsteve@apple.com.

When people tell the truth, freedom comes. America has been bound in great untruths where the money is concerned. Now, S and P has downgraded America’s credit rating telling truth. Now, if truth continues, America will find a way out of this mess.
David Axelrod, while being interviewed on Face the Nation” called the US financial downgrade a “tea party downgrade”.
While Obama spent millions and millions of dollars in stimulus grants that were designed, but did not boost the economy, Alexrod has nerve.
When Newsweek slammed Sarah Palin, her response was that Newsweek was sexist, out of touch and “Oh-so expected”. Well, now, Newsweek Magazine has slammed yet another conservative, demonizing her basically as a crazy and on the very cover are the words “Queen of Rage”.
In the August Newsweek Magazine, the leftist political machine has done it again and this time to Tea Party favorite Michele Bachman.
To Bachman’s credit, her press secretary had no comment as she said they were focussing on her continued campaign for President of the United States.
Dear Fellow Conservative,
The Democrats have stooped to a new low. This afternoon, Vice President Joe Biden reportedly led a congressional meeting where Tea Party members were labeled as “terrorists.”
Only in the bizarro world of Washington is fiscal responsibility sometimes defined as terrorism.
Our belief that America should live within its means and not spend more than it takes in distinguishes us as patriots who love our country, not to be equated with the terrorists whose sole aim is to destroy it.
As reported by Politico, Vice President Biden seemed to compare Tea Partiers to terrorists. As Politico put it: “‘driven by his Democratic allies’ misgivings about the debt-limit deal, [Biden] responded: ‘They have acted like terrorists,’ according to several sources in the room.” If these reports are true, Joe Biden should be ashamed of himself. He should apologize to the families of all victims of terrorism in America and around the world.
According to Politico, in that same meeting a Democratic congressman referred to the “slash and burn lunacy” adding, “the arsonists must be stopped.”

This is yet another example of how the liberal establishment and Obama White House will say and do anything necessary to get their way. I have faced the liberal attack machine before but their words today took their egregiousness to a new level. I am offended by Vice President Biden’s irresponsible words and need your immediate support to defend myself and fellow Tea Party members right away.
President Obama and Vice President Biden’s big-government agenda has undermined the foundations of our Constitution, our democracy, our economy and our freedoms. Obamacare stands alone as the most shocking power grab in the history of our nation! As constitutional conservatives, we know the stakes have never been higher, and I know that you won’t let these irresponsible attacks silence your voice–they certainly won’t silence mine!

Army:
I hope you watched President Obama give the State of the Union Address last night. I went on CNBC’s Squawk Box and then MSNBC’s Morning Joe this morning to give some of my thoughts on the energy section of the speech, and I’d like to share them with you now. I hope the attention he gave to America’s energy crisis will help kick-start bipartisan action.
I agree with the President’s goal of moving toward battery-powered vehicles and other technologies but we need to get more options into the mix. The reality is that today a battery has limitations-it won’t move an 18-wheeler, for example. So on a barrel-for-barrel replacement for foreign oil and diesel, only natural gas can can step in now and have an immediate impact starting today, not years down the road. The value of using our abundant natural gas as an alternative to foreign oil is simple-if we had all 8 million 18-wheelers on natural gas, we would cut OPEC imports in half. These natural gas trucks would be 30 percent cleaner, and fuel would be a dollar per gallon cheaper-it’s that simple.
I noted that Abu Dhabi recently announced that they are moving toward natural gas as a transportation fuel. Why are they doing that? It’s a smart business decision for them: natural gas is cheaper. They can use cheaper natural gas in their vehicles and sell the expensive oil to the United States.
We need immediate action. One way President Obama can get things moving is to issue an executive order requiring all federal vehicles purchased in the future to run on American resources-natural gas, ethanol, electricity, or other domestic options. Anything American-as long as it’s American.
I’m excited about what I heard and optimistic about the future. I think we’re headed down the right track by recognizing that we need to get on our resources to solve our energy crisis-that means using everything, including renewables like solar and wind, along with nuclear, natural gas and other American resources.
But we need to quit buying oil from the enemy starting today. I appreciate what Joe Scarborough said to me this morning: “I will tell you this right now though. I would like that $2 billion a week to invest in what you’re talking about, Boone, and that is transforming our economy and breaking our dependence on foreign oil from OPEC.”
I know we get get this done by working together.
